Today, your student received another reminder from Wake Forest regarding the University’s COVID-19 policy. Students who fail to comply with this policy by August 1 will be removed from fall courses and their assigned housing (if applicable).

Please note that registration (add/drop) for continuing students (students who are not new to Wake Forest) who have demonstrated compliance with the policy will open on August 6, which will significantly impact your student’s ability to re-register for courses from which they are dropped. Any new first-year student who is removed from classes will be unable to make changes to their registration until August 20, even if they are reinstated during this time. This could impact their ability to register for a full-time course load. In addition, a student’s scholarships and other financial aid cannot be paid while the student is not registered for classes.

Please discuss this communication with your student, as a response is imperative.

Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
