Reminder of New Program – WFU/Charlotte: Undergraduate Internship Semester

I was in a meeting this morning and was reminded of this new study away opportunity – and wanted to bring it back to folks’ attention lest it get lost in the flurry of finals prep:

“Take your Wake Forest education into the heart of the Queen City for the Spring 2027 semester! This immersive new program combines high-impact internship experience with a specialized semester of academic credit featuring BEM 210. Introduction to BusinessCSC 195. Data VisualizationENT 314. Leadership and Character in Entrepreneurship, and CGS. 229: Internship.  Notably, three of these four courses (all but the internship) will count toward the requirements for the new Business Minor.

Designed for students eager to explore ways to bridge the gap between the classroom and their professional interests, this program offers a unique living and learning experience tailored across a broad spectrum of sectors – from small, mid-sized, and large firms to influential nonprofits and civic organizations.

Priority Application Deadline: July, 15 to ensure the best match between students’ and our internship partners. Apply here.”

Surprise breakfast with Misty Copeland?!?!?

We’ll end on something super fun today: it’s a surprise video with some of our students:

“What they thought was a mandatory meeting turned into an invitation to start Commencement morning with breakfast with Misty Copeland. Check out this surprise for 14 seniors receiving exciting news in this video.”
