Greek Fall Fest this coming Monday (9/29)
Happy Family Weekend to all! Today will be brief, just sharing a couple of last minute thoughts. Here goes:
Dining locations and how to view hours of operation
For families who are on campus this weekend, if you want to see our dining venues and their hours of operation, visit the Dining website. (I know your students are going to want you to take them out to dinner, but this could be helpful if you need to get a coffee or a snack if they are otherwise occupied).
For those looking for exercise walks/runs
Although the weather this weekend is not ideal, some of y’all may want to squeeze in a walk or run in between activities with your Deacs. Campus Rec has a website on our trails, which may be helpful.
I am a big fan of taking the walk from campus up to Reynolda Village (and, if I am honest, stopping to get May Way Dumplings while I am there!)
For the art lovers
Did you know that Wake Forest has several impressive art collections? Art is displayed in many of our public buildings, including the Benson University Center and Reynolda Hall, among others. If you have a few minutes, take a stroll down the halls of any administrative or academic building and see whether you can find works by famous artists (you can!) or just items that you think are remarkable.
