There is a great opportunity out there today: today is our Day of Giving (or as we are calling it this year, Matchstravaganza.
A lot is at stake here – if we get 1,000 gifts, an anonymous donor will provide a $50,000 match. That is a free $50K to Wake (and I am here to tell you, $50K can do a lot of good – think of the resources it could add to the ZSR library, classroom instruction, facilities, and other programs). Therefore, it is really important that a lot of parents, alumni, and friends make gifts today.
While I normally only talk money in the Daily Deac a couple times a year, this day is too important to miss.
And don’t worry that you are getting your Daily Deac at 5 pm and the business day is over – it will not be too late to participate! Our Matchstravaganza elves will be working all the way up to 11:59 pm Eastern to try and make sure we get our match.
We do a lot of special things at Wake – but we can’t do them all without the support of parents, alumni, and friends. I know you are already paying significant tuition, and we are not asking you to give a fortune (unless you want to of course). A gift of any amount will help us get to our 1,000 donor goal. At the end of the online form, you can add a note for the gift processors – please tell them the Daily Deac inspired you 🙂
