Crazy Eights

All over campus this morning, there are sideways 8s (the infinity sign).  They are chalked on the sidewalk in front of the library and on the retaining walls near the front entrance.  They are on the cement pillars on the edges of Reynolda Hall, and along the walkway near the south entrance to the Pit.  They are even on recycling bins.

So what do the 8s/infinity signs mean?  I don’t know, but have some feelers out to campus colleagues who might know.  Stay tuned…
