Have a Senior Student? OPCD is Here to Help with Their Post-Graduate Plans
The Office of Personal and Career Development asked to have this message shared with Wake Forest families.

A student’s life is often filled with academics, social and extracurricular commitments, and all that college life offers. For many, thoughts of careers and life beyond Wake don’t arise until senior year is upon them. The Office of Personal and Career Development (OPCD) is working to change that mindset and encourage students to start the journey as early as freshman year, but rest assured that no matter when a student decides to start, we’re always here to help.
Now is the perfect time to encourage your senior student to take the reins. The office’s resources cover the spectrum of student needs. From career exploration and discovery tools such as assessments and mind mapping to internship and job search tools such as resume reviews and mock interviews – OPCD creates a safe and supportive environment for students.
Helping students pursue their passions and getting them on track to achieving fulfillment is a worthwhile investment. The staff of expert career and personal development professionals of OPCD come to know students by name and are excited to partner in their future success.
Making an appointment is easily done by walk-in or having your son or daughter call 336.758.5902. Students can also familiarize themselves with the office resources by visiting opcd.wfu.edu.
