Summer School information from Residence Life and Housing

Important Dates

Students who wish to live on campus for summer school will need to request housing through WIN.  Rooms are assigned first-come, first-served, based on availability.  Preferences are not guaranteed.  If you have questions regarding Summer School room assignments, contact Kristy Eanes, Assignments Coordinator or call 336.758.5185.

  • Summer Session One
    • Monday, May 22, 2017   9:00 am – 5:00 p.m. – check in at Kitchin Residence Hall
    • Thursday, June 29, 2017  by 7:00 p.m. – check out of Kitchin Residence Hall
  • Summer Session Two
    • Wednesday, July 5, 2017  19:00 am – 5 p.m. – check in at Kitchin Residence Hall
    • Friday, August 11, 2017

      by7 p.m. – check out of Kitchin Residence Hall

  • Students reserving the same room for both sessions will not be required to move out between sessions.

*All assignments are available on a first-come, first-served, space-available basis.

Housing Rates

Summer School 2017 Housing rates are:

  • Single Room – $ 984 per summer session
  • Double Room – $ 672 per summer session

Meal Plans (optional)

40 Block Meals  $60 Food Dollars  = $ 476.33

60 Block Meals  $75 Food Dollars = $ 672.80

100 Block Meals  $100 Food Dollars = $ 895.29

If Your Student Has a Problem

One of the best ways parents/families can help their students is to let them solve their own problems. Use the Stop, Drop, and Roll method when your student contacts you with a problem.  The flyer also lists contact information for serious concerns where family intervention might be appropriate.
