The Student Health Service sent the following email regarding the upcoming student flu shot clinic, which will be held October 11.

————————-

A student flu vaccine clinic will be held on October 11 from from 9:30 am – 6:00 pm.  The cost is $27.00, which can be paid for with cash or check.

If a student wants to  pay with Deacon Dollars or use a credit card, he/she can go to the ticket office in Benson starting at 8:30 on Oct. 10 to purchase a voucher.  The student will then present the voucher to the staff at the flu clinic for payment.

If a student has Blue Cross Blue Shield, Student Blue or Aetna, they will just need to bring their insurance card the day of the clinic and the staff will file their insurance.

The clinic is now advertised on the PDC (Professional Development Center) for students to schedule a time to come get the vaccine.  Walk ins are welcome as well!
