The Office of the Registrar sent the following email to the campus community on Monday, April 22.
You should be aware of changes to the Fall 2013 calendar.
1. Starting this fall, classes will begin for the Fall and Spring semesters on a TUESDAY. The first class day for Fall 2013 is Tuesday, August 27 and for Spring 2014, it is Tuesday, 01/14.
2. Due to various scheduling conflicts, the Fall Break has been moved one week earlier to Friday, October 11. This change affects only Fall 2013.
3. Even with this change to the Fall Break, mid-term grades are not due from the faculty until Wednesday, October 22.

One of the most important ways parents and families can help their students in college is by encouraging them to solve their own problems. Please bookmark or print out this Stop, Drop, and Roll flyer so you have it when your student contacts you with a problem. Also, the flyer lists contact information for urgent and serious concerns where family intervention might be appropriate.
Select information and presentations from Orientation 2016 are available online.
The Office of Family Engagement provides information and support to Wake Forest parents, guardians, grandparents, and family members. The office maintains the Family Engagement Page of the Wake Forest website, which is the primary vehicle of communication with families, as well as our Facebook and Twitter presence.
