Crime Alert: Off Campus Incident

The Winston-Salem Police Department is investigating an off-campus incident that occurred near campus on Brookwood Drive on the evening of Feb. 8.

There were reports of shots fired in the neighborhood at approximately 9:30 p.m. No injuries were reported and no students were involved.  Winston-Salem Police is continuing patrols in the area.

Winston-Salem Police asks that anyone with information regarding this incident contact the Winston-Salem Police Department at 336-773-7700 or CrimeStoppers at 336-727-2800.

Wake Forest University Police recommend reviewing personal safety and crime prevention tips and encourage students faculty and staff to download LiveSafe, the free personal mobile campus safety application.
