Deac families, there is something going on today for a very good cause. The campus is having a silent auction (as well as a few live auction items) for our campus’ United Way campaign. There are about 100 items up for sale today – including gift certificates, art, jewelry, stays at a beach condo for a week, tickets to Disney World, and more.
For students who might not be able/have time to get off campus to do holiday shopping for family and friends, this is a great option for them! Please urge interested students to come to Benson 401 between 3-5 p.m. The live auction will begin at 4 pm, and that will be for the big-ticket items, but the vast majority of goods will be silent auctioned. Students do not need to be present at 5 if they are the winner of an item – they just need to have provided the auction with their name/cell phone number and agree to make payment within 24 hours.
More information about the auction is available online.
The Office of Family Engagement provides information and support to Wake Forest parents, guardians, grandparents, and family members. The office maintains the Family Engagement Page of the Wake Forest website, which is the primary vehicle of communication with families, as well as our Facebook and Twitter presence.
