Yearbook Senior Portrait Message

For the Class of 2021,

Due to increased demand, the Howler Yearbook team was able to receive approval to extend the WFU Senior Portraits and add additional times to the remaining days this week. Senior portraits will continue to be offered Monday – Wednesday next week, March 29 – 31. This extension was a generous exception to the Lifetouch contract which otherwise permits only 2 weeks of portraits per semester.

These are the only opportunities to have a senior portrait taken. Once all appointments are booked, there will not be any more available. You should book as soon as possible to ensure you have a spot.

The Howler, Wake Forest’s official yearbook, in conjunction with Lifetouch Photography, will offer 6 more days of senior portrait sessions. There is no fee to be photographed, and all photos will be available for purchase online after the photo sessions are complete. These portraits will be featured in the 2020 – 2021 Howler Yearbook and can also be used for Professional Networking and Job Search sites!

If your student is graduating in December 2021, their portrait will be taken in the Fall 2021 semester and included in the 2021 – 2022 publication.

Senior Portraits:

  • Dates: March 23 – 26; March 29 – 31 (NEW!)
  • Times: Mondays, 10am – 6pm; Tuesdays – Fridays, 9am – 6pm
  • Location: Benson Center, Room 500 – can be accessed by elevator or by the staircase directly across from the elevator
  • Attire: Business Casual (i.e. blazers, button-downs,  sweaters, etc.). Caps and gowns will also be provided upon arrival (for portrait use only).
  • To make an appointment, visit ouryear.com and enter school code 87110.
  • Students should be prepared to provide the photographer with their major at the time of sitting.

How to Purchase a Yearbook:

  1. Go to yearbookordercenter.com
  2. Enter 13941 in the box under “Order Number” and click Continue
  3. Click on “Buy a Yearbook, Yearbook Packages, & Other Cool Stuff”
  4. Enter your desired quantities and click “Continue Your Order”
  5. Fill out all required information.
  6. Continue to checkout!

SAFETY– PLEASE NOTE:

  • We have put in place all CDC recommended guidelines for taking senior portraits.
  • No-touch posing and social distancing will be implemented.
  • Photographers and assistants will not make physical contact and will keep 6ft distance from subjects, customers and employees.
  • All work areas will be cleaned after each sitting and all (studio provided attire), will be steamed cleaned between each subject. All photographers and assistants will be wearing face masks at all times.
  • It is important that students arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. No walk-ins permitted to limit the number of people in the space at a time.
