NOTE: the following message was sent to families to remind them that their student will be required to take their booster shot at the medically-appropriate time, per their vaccine eligibility or following an extension after a positive COVID test. Students’ eligibility dates vary per their circumstances, and they can check their previous correspondence with University officials about their due dates.

Dear parents and families,

This week, your student received a reminder from Wake Forest regarding the University’s vaccination policies. Students need to provide proof of COVID-19 booster vaccination within two weeks of becoming eligible. If your student fails to provide proof of vaccination, they will be unenrolled from classes and removed from University-assigned housing (if applicable).

Please note that if your student is withdrawn, your student will be subject to the University’s refund policy for withdrawal. In addition, your student will not be able to receive financial aid, and your student will lose any federal work-study assignments. If your student is an international student, please note that withdrawal will negatively impact your student’s visa status.

Please discuss this communication with your student.

Thank you for your assistance as we all work together to keep your student and the Wake Forest community safe and healthy.
