Dear SPS Students,

Now that you’re preparing for a new academic year it’s time to review your information in Workday.

Yes, these tasks are similar to the ones you managed during the launch of Workday Student or when you recently registered for Fall courses. Please note that you’ll be responsible for completing these tasks twice a year to keep your records up to date. Onboarding in Workday doesn’t just happen when you are a new student. It will always open approximately two weeks before the first day of classes, and the tasks need to be completed before the start of every fall and spring semester.

A few important things to note:

  • You can complete your onboarding tasks in 30 minutes or less.
  • Until you complete your onboarding tasks, you will not have access to registration activities including adding, dropping and swapping courses.
  • You must click Submit on every single task or your onboarding will remain incomplete.

Here’s a quick refresher to find your tasks:

  1. Log in to Workday Student through workday.wfu.edu, your Google App launcher, or One.WFU.
  2. Once logged in, go to your My Tasks inbox.
    • Check out this video and the graduate student job aid for assistance with completing these tasks.
    • Note that some tasks require you to review a policy or process and click a checkbox to confirm your acknowledgement, whereas others require you to review and update information, such as your address.

For technical support, please continue to call the dedicated Workday Student helpline at 336.758.5600.

You can also find a library of job aids, videos and other helpful on-demand resources on the Project Wakeday website.

Thank you for taking the time to log in this week to complete your onboarding tasks.

Go Deacs, and have a great fall semester!

Sincerely,

The Project WakeDay team
