If your student has been deferred or denied from the Business School and is struggling with what his/her next steps might be, please be aware that Dean Betsy Hoppe and her staff at the Business School have offered to meet with each of these students to discuss the student’s goals and options for meeting them. In addition, please know that the Academic Counselors in the Office of Academic Advising are also available to assist. The Office of Academic Advising is located in Reynolda Hall 125.

More from the Business School: Beginning this summer (2017), students must meet a prerequisite requirement of a 2.85 Wake Forest cumulative GPA to be eligible to take Accounting 111.  For fall 2017 online registration, if a student feels he/she may not have this GPA by the end of the spring semester, we suggest that the student not register for the class during online registration. If a student does not register for ACC 111 but ends up with the 2.85 GPA at the end of the term, we will enroll them in a section of ACC 111 once we have confirmation of the spring 2017 GPA.  Students who feel they may not meet the prerequisite GPA should email Lynn Zimmerman (zimmerlt@wfu.edu). She will keep a list of these students and, at the end of spring semester, will enroll those students who meet the prerequisite requirement. If, however, a student elects to register for ACC 111 during online registration and does not meet the minimum GPA after spring semester, he/she will be dropped from the class.
