The following message was sent to students living in Bostwick and Johnson, about their move to Luter over the Winter Break.

———————-

Hi –

We hope that you’ve enjoyed your fall semester thus far, and that as we move into the second half of the semester you are feeling at home on South Campus and amongst those in your community.

We wanted to begin preparing you for the transition from your current assignment into Luter Hall – originally outlined in the housing assignment message you received over the summer: Bostwick | Johnson

Our team will help facilitate each step of the process to ensure you feel prepared to leave for break – with your room packed and ready to be moved by professionals to your new room in Luter Hall.

Next month, as boxes arrive at your hall and you’re able to begin the packing process, we’ll follow-up with another message with key reminders around packing, how to label and prepare belongings that won’t fit in a provided box, and what check-out and check-in will look like for you.

TIMELINE

  • November 8-19 – Packing supplies arrive to your room, allowing you pack on your own schedule.
    • Expect to receive these items directly to your room and to get regular reminders from hall staff as we move closer to Winter Break.
  • By December 12 – Before leaving campus for break, your belongings should all be boxed and/or labeled and ready for a move.
    • Plan ahead to take anything valuable or important to you, as you will not have access again until January.
  • January 6 – Bostwick/Johnson residents may return to campus to check into Luter Hall between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (additional details to come).
