Faculty Fellows teams are in our first-year residence halls once again this fall, ready to help students make an academic home at Wake Forest.

Our teams have grown to four faculty members per hall thanks to robust support and interest in faculty-student engagement; they represent departments and schools diverse as Theatre and Dance; English; Spanish; Mathematics; Physics; Classics; Music; Health and Exercise Science; the School of Business; ZSR Library; and more. Meals, games, crafts, field trips, and above all, regular, low-key events powered by fun snacks and casual conversation are some examples of events to expect from these student-focused teams.

More information, including details about each residence hall’s Faculty Fellows team, is here. Click on your hall to learn more. Students should start getting to know their team today, and look out for your hall’s Fellows during August 17 move-in, and make a point to attend some Faculty Fellows events your first semester.

What if your student isn’t sure how to approach faculty members? Students: always start with your Faculty Fellows. They’re up for answering questions, teaching you a thing or two while learning from you, and helping you have a little fun as you make your way in your hall community and Wake Forest. These faculty are empathetic listeners who take on these roles because they care about student wellbeing and belonging; they’re also strong examples of our extraordinary Wake Forest commitment to student-faculty engagement and mentorship.
