The message below was sent to resident students who have a vacancy (i.e., empty bed) in their double-occupancy room.

Good Afternoon –

I hope this message finds you well and you are enjoying the first week of classes. You are receiving this message because according to our records you have a vacancy – which could be filled as early as this weekend – in your bedroom.

Please note that you need to keep half of your room (bed, dresser, desk, etc.) ready (empty, clean, etc.) for another occupant at any time.

  • If you have someone that you’d like to pull into that vacancy, please reach out to Kristy Eanes at eaneska@wfu.edu by January 21, 2022.

  • Your Community Director will be checking your room next week to ensure that it is ready for a new resident.

  • Additionally, with expected winter weather this weekend we may need to relocate residents in an emergency. In these circumstances we may or may not be able to provide advance notice, thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for your attention to this and for helping us by ensuring that your room is ready to receive another resident if necessary.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Best –

Zach Blackmon, Ph.D., MBA
Associate Director of Operations
