In this Issue: DEACTOWN Fan Zone & Watch Party details for Saturday’s Super Regional game

I am out of the office today and Monday, so this is a pre-post

I hope you are wearing your Black and Gold/Wake Forest apparel for #WFFriday! And there good news for people in town who want to experience the Super Regional (but don’t have tickets for Saturday’s game):

“With the top-ranked Demon Deacons NCAA Baseball Regional vs. Alabama sold out, Wake Forest Athletics is hosting a Fan Zone & Watch Party outside David F. Couch Ballpark for fans this weekend….

Fans can congregate and watch the action this weekend inside Gate 5 of Truist Field adjacent to the action as Wake Forest Athletics staff strive to provide all fans with The Best Fan Experience in North Carolina.

The first game of the Winston-Salem Super Regional will take place on Saturday, June 10 at Noon ET before the teams return to The Couch on Sunday, June 11 with the time to be determined. If necessary, the Deacs and Crimson Tide will finish the Super Regional in a winner-take-all game on Monday, June 12 with the time to be determined….

DEACTOWN Fan Zone & Watch Party Details
Festivities on Saturday will begin at 10 a.m. and Wake Forest Athletics will announce later this week when this Fan Zone will open prior to the Sunday and Monday (if necessary) contests. This will be a great destination for all fans with tailgating options, live music, video screens, local drink selections from R&D Brewing, fun and a variety of food trucks and vendor options. Additionally, Wake Forest Athletics will provide experiences for fans of all ages.

Admission to this area is FREE and all fans must enter through Gate 5 of Truist Field. Fans are welcome to enjoy the atmosphere prior to entering Couch Ballpark to watch the game or to remain in the DEACTOWN Fan Zone area to watch the action on multiple screens.

Parking Information
General public parking will be available in the Truist Field Lots (Gold, Red, Blue & Orange on parking map). The charge is $10 at point of entry only, with no advanced sales.”
