Very Sad News from Campus

Our hearts are breaking today. Last night we received an email from President Wente and Vice President Kidd Brown to share the terrible news that one of our students, Janey Thompson (’26), has passed away. 

There are no good words at a time of such heartbreaking loss.

As with all campus-wide emails, we are sharing this email in the Daily Deac so that families can be aware that their student might need support if they are grieving. Please encourage your students to seek out resources on campus if they need support.
