Today is the kind of day my late P’92 mom loved: warm with gentle breezes is what she always called it. As I type, it’s 75 degrees ans sunny. There is enough of a breeze to keep the leaves on the trees fluttering. Other than the pollen (which is bothering a lot of folks I know), it’s pretty near perfect. You can see it on the Quad Cam. (Aside, look at the beautifully mown Quad grass. I always love the pre-Commencement beautification of campus).

I am deep in final prep for our New Students website launch on Weds, so today will be brief.

Spring in the Forest video

I have some amazing colleagues who work with video and social media, and they have compliled this look back at Spring in the Forest. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did (how about that squirrel at the beginning?!?!)

Ken Bennett retirement video

In case you missed it on social media, I wanted to share this video about the retirement of my friend (and now former colleague!), Ken Bennett. Ken is the man behind literally decades of Wake Forest photos. I thought you might enjoy a peek into how he thinks about the photos that have helped shape people’s understanding of Wake Forest

New Students website goes live Weds!

There is a small army of folks who have been updating the New Students website and getting the info updated (behind the scenes) so that we can roll out a new version of it on Wednesday. I am not sure exactly what time it might go live on Weds, so if you check it and it is still saying Class of 2027, give it an hour and check again.

My plea to all new P’28 families is please don’t print out the New Students website, or the checklists therein. While we try hard not to have to change anything, it is inevitable that there will be a date that changes or a new item added. Always use the online version, as it will be the most accurate.

P’27s: Letters So Dear

For the P’27s in the group, your Deacs got their Letters So Dear this morning.
