Today is all about some quick hits:

I happened to stumble upon this gem: every day in March at noon, Wake Forest University Theatre will release a Shakespeare sonnet, presented by a different student, faculty, or staff member at Wake.  We will be releasing each sonnet on Instagram and Facebook. Performers have been encouraged to connect to their sonnet, reimagine it, and make it their own. Some of them could be danced, or sung, or performed in different languages, etc.  It will be different every day.

The Learning Assistance Center will be hosting their very popular Test Anxiety workshop this Friday, March 5th; details in this flyer. The LAC is also hosting Virtual Study Hall from 8-10 pm Sunday-Thursday.

Managing Test Anxiety workshop 3.5.21 Virtual Study Hall flyerOur ’24s got their edition of Letters So Dear yesterday; for past issues, the archive is here.

March is Women’s History Month, and the Women’s Center theme this year is Women Continue to Save the World, which seeks to reflect on the ways in which women have contributed to political and social movements throughout history. See the Women’s History Month google calendar. for details.

PILOT 21 is a Public Policy project that is spanning 9 different North Carolina college campuses over the next year. If your first-year, sophomore, or junior is interested, they will have the opportunity to work with a team and form creative solutions to a singular policy issue. This project has parts that will involve data analysis, policy research, writing, and more. Current students with interests in policy or advocating for positive changes in your community can see the application (due by March 8th).

Student Union’s Instagram account has all kinds of events and activities your Deacs can participate in; follow here. There’s also a bunch of upcoming activities via the Office of Student Engagement (follow their Instagram) and students should be on The Link for more events.
