I am out all week this week, so this is a prepost.

As we think about the fall, I want to draw attention to some of the wonderful campus spaces that our students can use, with appropriate social distancing and masking, of course.

Farrell Hall, home to our School of Business, has a number of really great outdoor places.

Wake Forest business professor Cynthia Tessien, left, talks with senior Noelle Van Calcar ('17) near the fire pit outside Farrell Hall on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.There is a fire pit with rocking chairs. This is a perennial favorite, particularly at night when Farrell’s lights provide a gorgeous glow on the patio.

Farrell Hall on the Wake Forest campus on a cool fall morning on Saturday, October 31, 2015.The patio proper has outdoor furniture, as well as a ping pong table (a perfect activity!)

Wake Forest business students Rahul Ramachandran, left, and Brandon Barfield play table tennis outside Farrell Hall during a break between their graduate classes on Tuesday, October 14, 2014.Wake Forest students enjoy a warm late fall day studying outside Farrell Hall on Monday, November 14, 2016.I especially love the tables that are nestled between Farrell and the North Campus dining hall. It’s a peaceful, wooded, shady spot.

Whether your student is looking for a study space or a place to dine al fresco with a friend, Farrell is a fantastic place to be.
