Library spaces tend to fill up during finals week, so your Deacs may be looking for additional places to study. The Office of the Dean of the College – with help from many campus partners – has compiled lists on this website with links to additional study spaces at Wake Downtown and the Reynolda (aka Main) Campus.

Impending finals also can mean increased stress, and our Office of Wellbeing is here to help:

The Office of Wellbeing is thrilled to announce that drop-in Wellbeing Coaching is now available for all WFU students on the Reynolda campus. To support students during this time of the semester, 20-30 minute sessions are offered by our Certified Health Coaches in the Office of Wellbeing. These sessions are designed to help students overcome new obstacles, manage stress, enhance self care practices, develop short-term goals to promote holistic wellbeing, and more.

Please encourage students to utilize this free service which will be available through exams, no appointment necessary. Upcoming drop-in hours are Wednesday, December 4th from 1:00-6:00 pm and Thursday, December 5th from 10:00 am-2:00 pm. All sessions take place in the Office of Wellbeing suite A321 (in the Wellbeing Center/Reynolds Gym). More details here.

The Wellbeing Coaching website also has a helpful section on how coaching differs from counseling, so worth an exploration. Also just a reminder that the University Counseling Center also has walk-in hours for students who are looking for just-in-time assistance.

Kudos to our social media/video team, who has been doing great work documenting some of the activities on campus. We know that most of our families are too far away to attend these, so happy to bring you what we can. Hope you will enjoy the Fall Faculty and Guest Artist Dance Concert highlight video.

Late Night Breakfast is tonight from 10 pm-midnight. It’s my second happiest Pit event (Pitsgiving gets the top spot :)).
