Here we go

Today is a bit of a hodgepodge in the Daily Deac. I got a message this morning saying that due to December’s weather, the Fraternity and Sorority Life office rescheduled the Interfraternity Coucil Recruitment webinar for Thursday, January 17th at noon. Registration information for the session is available on their webpage.

In other Greek news, Potential New Members (PNMs) are arriving on campus today – these are young women going through sorority recruitment this week. This is always a flurry of activity. I am writing this about 10:30 am and right now it feels like the calm before the storm.

Speaking of storm…I know it is early and forecasts can change, but the weather here is reporting a chance of snow over the weekend (which I am not happy about, for the record). This website has information to remind how weather-related announcements would be made if needed.

Finally, our friends in Student Financial Services asked me to remind the Daily Deacdom that 1098-T Tuition Statement tax forms have changed for the 2018 tax year. They encourage you to visit the Student Financial Services website for a quick, information video that will assist you and your Deac in navigating the report changes and easy directions to sign up for online access.
