The Family Weekend 2018 committee is excited to invite you to Family Weekend 2018, September 28-30. Over the past few months, we’ve been working to coordinate a weekend schedule packed with fun and informative events, and the list of activities is looking great:
Ready, Deacon Families? Family Weekend registration will go live tomorrow morning, Tuesday July 10, at 10:00 AM!
But what does this really mean? If your family is attending Family Weekend for the first time, you might be feeling a bit confused about the registration process, as well as the array of choices on the schedule, both ticketed and complimentary.
Here are the basics:
To register for Family Weekend, visit our registration website at Cvent, beginning tomorrow at 10:00 AM. You’ll be asked a few quick questions and given the opportunity to make ticket and t-shirt purchases along with paying your family registration fee. Reviewing the schedule before visiting Cvent can help you decide what purchases are best for your family.
The registration fee for Family Weekend 2018 is $30 per family. Paying the fee enables you and your family members to take advantage of the opportunities and amenities detailed on our website.
Many families ask if they’ll need to purchase event tickets for their student. More often than not, the answer will be yes. You can look for this icon to indicate events where students will need a ticket.
Be aware that many Family Weekend activities are complimentary, and these events won’t display on the purchasing page at Cvent. So don’t miss out, be sure to read the schedule as well.
