Fall Break will be held on Friday, October 19th.  For students who live within reasonable driving distance, they may elect to go home to see their families (maybe taking a friend or two with them), or head out on a road trip to see friends at other colleges.

If your student is not planning to travel home for Fall Break and is looking for an interesting way to spend the weekend, the Volunteer Service Corps has a Fall Break Service Trip planned.  For students who are service minded, who want to see the Old Campus, and who really want to exercise our Pro Humanitate motto, this might be for them.  It might also be a great way for students to meet a completely new set of people and potential friends!

Here’s what the VSC has to say about this trip.  Please share it with your student if you think this might appeal to him/her.  Have a great weekend, Deac families!
