—————-

Due to today’s unstable weather conditions, the University recommends that students, faculty and staff stay informed on weather reports today and tonight. Such weather information is readily available on local TV stations, local radio and various websites for those outlets and national weather services.

Currently, a tornado watch is in effect in Forsyth County and nearby counties.  The National Weather Service states that a watch means that atmospheric conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes.
