Wake Forest incorporates service projects in some of its academic classes.  Here is an example of public engagement at work in conjunction with a class: students in the Women and Gender Studies class Human Rights: Theory and Practice organized a student activism project on Manchester Plaza.  Students decorated t-shirts about human rights, human trafficking and more.
