Shuttle Collided with Car on Campus, No One Reported Injured

A Wake Forest shuttle bus and a student-driven vehicle collided tonight on Wake Forest Road near Wait Chapel/Wingate Hall, according to the University Police Department.  No one has been reported as injured.

The vehicles caught fire after the collision.  Wake Forest Road near Wait Chapel and Farrell Hall is closed while the accident is investigated.  The University Police Department asks that no one attempt to drive in that immediate area.  All are asked to stay clear of the immediate area.

The Winston-Salem Police Department is assisting the University Police Department with the accident. The Winston-Salem Fire Department responded to the fire.
