Flu Clinic on October 7th

Maxim Healthcare will be on campus Wednesday, October 7th from 12:00 – 7:00 pm offering flu vaccines for students!  The event will be held in Benson 401.  The cost is $27.00 cash or check.  If paying by credit or debit card, a voucher can be purchased at the Benson Ticket Office on October 7th.

The following insurance cards are accepted at the time of service:  Aetna;  Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield;  Blue Cross/Blue Shield of NC,RI, MA, TX, IL;  Coventry Health Care of the Carolinas, Premera Blue Cross; Regence BC/BS of OR and WA; Healthspring; Humana; Independence BC/BS, Sierra Health & Life, and SummaCare.  2015 Flu Vaccine Flyer

Additional Fall Mini Clinic Offerings

The Student Health Service will continue giving flu vaccines through out the fall semester.  We will offer mini clinics in the Z Smith Reynolds Library on Tuesday and Wednesdays from 5:00-7:00 pm beginning on October 13th and running through the month of October.

Students can also just “walk in” to the Student Health Service during clinic hours M-F between 9:00 and 4:00 pm beginningOctober 8th.   There is a charge of $27.00 if the student gets the vaccine through the Student Health Service as we do not file insurance.  However, a receipt will be generated after the vaccine, that can be printed off and  filed with your insurance.
