The School of Business asked that the following information be shared with parents and families of first-year students (Class of 2019) who have interest in exploring possible business majors.

February in Farrell for First-Year Students!

Please note the following events taking place in Farrell Hall in February for first-year students interested in applying to the School of Business. This is your month!

March and early April are dedicated to major advising and registration, so we would like to offer these opportunities in February to first-year students interested in information about the School of Business majors and application process.

Please plan to attend these events if you intend to apply to the School of Business and would like the latest information.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10thStudy Abroad Panel—will include a panel of business majors speaking about their abroad experience, as well as, information about the rules pertaining to the School of Business majors studying abroad. 4:00 PM in Broyhill Auditorium, Farrell Hall.

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 17thSchool of Business Information Session—will be similar to the one held in August with more in-depth information about the majors, the application process, clubs and career paths. 5:00 PM in Broyhill Auditorium, Farrell Hall.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19thSchool of Business Drop-In Hours for Q & A—Drop in to speak to an academic adviser in the School of Business with your specific questions.  9:00-11:30 AM and 1:30-4:00 PM in 115 Farrell Hall (check in at the front desk and ask for Sharon Payne)

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 25thSchool of Business Drop-In-Hours for Q & A—Drop in to speak to an academic adviser in the School with your specific questions.  9:00-11:30 AM and 1:30-4:00 PM in 115 Farrell Hall (check in at the front desk and ask for Sharon Payne)

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 29th School of Business Drop-In-Hours for Q & A—Drop in to speak to an academic adviser in the School with your specific questions.  1:30-4:00 PM in 115 Farrell Hall (check in at the front desk and ask for Sharon Payne)

We have dedicated this month to first-year students, so I encourage you to attend these events in February. We will be available to meet with first-year students again after April 15th.
