Dear Wake Forest parents and families,

We hope you arrived home safely and have had a chance to rest after a busy and exciting few days at Wake Forest! We also hope your new Deac is settling in, making connections, and beginning to find their place in The Forest.

Thank you to all who were able to join us for New Deac Week and for trusting us to be part of this important transition for your family.

As we continue working to create a welcoming and meaningful experience for future students and families, we would love to hear from you. Please take a few minutes to complete our 2026 New Deac Week – Parents and Families Survey.

Your feedback about your Orientation experience and our summer communications helps us understand what worked well and where we can continue to improve.

We also want to share the slides from our New Deac Week Family Orientation sessions.

Thank you for sharing your student with us—and welcome to the Wake Forest family!

Should you have any additional questions, please let us know at  or .

Best,

Cherise James, Ph.D.
