Wake Forest University Information Systems (WFUIS) is your one-stop for all things computing. Here is some important information as you arrive on campus.
Connect to the campus network
Look at the Wi-Fi options and choose WFUwireless – sign in with your WFU username (not full email address) and password. When visiting other campuses, look at the Wi-Fi options and choose eduroam.
Look at the Wi-Fi options and choose WFUguest to connect your friends and family to the campus network.

- Interested in Adobe Photoshop or other Adobe products? Adobe Creative Cloud is available to all students, faculty, and staff.
Back up your data
As a Wake Forest University student, you have access to multiple cloud storage and backup solutions, such as Dropbox (100 GB storage quota), Google Drive (unlimited storage), or OneDrive (unlimited storage).

- Backup your entire laptop with Google Backup and Sync, or
- Work out of your Smart-Synced Dropboxif your backup requirements are smaller and/or you are familiar with this tool, or
- Choose Sync with OneDriveand never worry about losing your data.

Stream TV and connect your devices
Stream2, the campus streaming TV service, provides access to 80 TV channels including premium, local and sports channels. Visit the IS website for more information on Stream2.
To connect your wireless devices to the campus network, you will need to use the MyDevices Portal. Wake Forest uses an encryption standard WPA2 Enterprise that many devices do not support such as Xbox and PlayStation devices. In order to connect these types of devices through the wireless system, visit the MyDevices service page.
STAC
Represent the student body on the Student Technology Advisory Committee! The group meets monthly and works closely with IS to foster technology collaboration by evaluating current technology services and anticipating future student needs.

You can still order your computer through WakeWare!
Purchasing is open all year long. At this point in the summer, we recommend picking up your laptop when you arrive, just in case there are any shipping or inventory delays.
If ordering online, include the bookstore address, listed below, as the shipping address and enter “In-Store Pickup” in the Special Instructions field within Delivery Method.
