Dear Wake Forest community,

As we continue to respond to the Weaver Fertilizer Plant fire, we are inviting you to attend an informational webinar today at 3 p.m. Eastern.

President Susan R. Wente, Vice President for Campus Life Shea Kidd Brown, subject matter experts and I will share up-to-date information and insights into the University’s response. Should you not be able to attend, a recording will be made available on the Weaver Fire website.

Yesterday, President Wente shared a message with the community that discussed the facts, details about the emergency response coordination and our decision-making process. The Weaver Fire website also includes answers to frequently asked questions and continuing updates.

Should you have any questions or concerns, our Call Center is available today, Friday, Feb. 4, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Eastern. You can reach the Call Center at 336-758-7500.

Deep thanks to you each for your considered contributions to our community response efforts, amid what has been a complex and fast-changing situation.

Sincerely,

Rogan Kersh
Provost
