Wake Forest University Commencement 2023 Information

The following message was sent to students who are potential candidates for graduation as provided by a list from the Registrar.

Dear parents and families of 2023 Graduates,

Congratulations on your student’s upcoming graduation! Commencement ticket registration is now open. Your student has been sent a registration link with the option to register for Commencement tickets, Baccalaureate tickets and parking passes. Students must order tickets for their guests; tickets will be available for pick-up just before Commencement (details about ticket pick-up will be sent to students closer to May).

Students who complete their ticket registration will receive 8 guest tickets for the Commencement ceremony (9 a.m. Monday, May 15) and up to 2 tickets for Baccalaureate (11 a.m. Sunday, May 14); students do not need to have a ticket for themselves if they are planning to march in the student processional for each ceremony. We regret that due to space limitations, we cannot offer additional guest tickets; students can work with their friends and classmates who do not need their full allotment of tickets if they need extras.

In addition to general tickets, students may also purchase tickets to Baccalaureate breakfast and the Commencement morning breakfast in the Pit. Note that meal tickets are non-refundable.

Please discuss your family’s ticket needs with your student so that they can order tickets and other items appropriately.

In addition to having your student register for tickets, please encourage your student to order their Commencement regalia as soon as possible. Shipping can take up to four weeks, and orders ship in the order they are received. A limited number of caps and gowns will be available for purchase at the Bookstore; note that limited sizes will be stocked.

Please note the fulfillment of ticket requests are contingent upon full clearance to graduate, which is determined by the Office of the University Registrar.
