Wake Forest Students, Faculty and Staff,

As part of our campus-wide preparations for Hurricane Florence, Wake Forest will conduct a test of the Wake Alert emergency notification system this evening, Tuesday, September 11, at 7 p.m.

The test message will clearly state that is being sent as part of a test of Wake Alert.

No action will be required by any recipient.

The sender of the test message will be identified as Wake Alert.

The following communication methods will be tested:

  • Wake Alert website
  • Banner at the top of the University home page and many other Wake Forest web pages
  • Text messaging
  • E-mail
  • Voice mail
  • Twitter (Wake Alert account)
  • Facebook (Wake Alert and Wake Forest University accounts)
