Dear parents and families –

Consistent with our Family Communications Guidelines and Philosophy, we want to make you aware of messages shared with students this evening. Wake Alert messages were issued to the campus community regarding an armed robbery at the BP station near the Best Western Plus on University Parkway; the Best Western Plus is our COVID quarantine/isolation hotel.

Winston-Salem police are continuing to investigate the robbery, and the suspects remain at large. No further updates are expected tonight.

Anyone with information that may assist in the investigation is asked to contact Wake Forest University Police at 336-758-5911.

Please be assured that our students’ safety is our highest priority.
