This message was sent to parents and families on July 14.

Dear Wake Forest Parents,

We value your partnership in our efforts to ensure that all Wake Forest students will have the opportunity to have a rewarding academic experience this fall and be as safe and healthy as possible. Therefore, we want to share with you the following message that your student received earlier today.

On May 26, we informed our students that COVID-19 vaccination will be required to enroll and attend Wake Forest this Fall with a deadline of July 1, 2021. Please talk with your student and confirm they completed the University requirement to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination before July 1. We have allowed a grace period given summer travel and obligations to enable all students to submit their records to us or to file for an exemption as soon as possible. However, on August 1, the University will begin the process of removing students from enrolled courses and assigned housing who have failed to provide the required documentation of their vaccination status.

If your student has submitted their documentation and wants to confirm we have received it, please have them check their status through the Student Health Portal. It may take as much as 72 hours for new submissions to be reviewed by our medical professionals. All other questions should be submitted through the Our Way Forward website or to the call center at 336-758-7500 on weekdays from July 15 – Aug. 6 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (EST).

Sincerely,

Hof Milam
Executive Vice President
