The National Weather Service reports that there is a risk of severe weather this afternoon. Stay alert and be prepared. An isolated tornado and hail are possible. Heavy rainfall may lead to minor flooding.

The WeatherSTEM stations at the Miller Center (@WakeForestWx) and at Allegacy Stadium (@WFUFootballWx) provide real-time weather data for Wake Forest University and surrounding neighborhoods. WeatherSTEM offers apps for iOS and Android.

Weather forecasts are also available on local TV stations WXIIWGHPWFMYSpectrum News 14, and The Weather Channel.

In a weather emergency, Wake Forest will use the Wake Alert emergency notification system to communicate with students, faculty and staff.

More information on signing up for emergency text alerts and voice messages can be found at Wake Ready here.
