As the spring semester begins, University Police reminds parents and families to encourage their students to follow good safety precautions and practices.

  • Record all your serial numbers on items such as cell phones, iPods, cameras, laptops, gaming devices.
  • Register your serial numbers with university police though their website under “Operation ID
  • On your personal items engrave your driver’s license number – engravers are obtained from university police.
  • Register your bike with you university police on the website. Place the decal on your bike.
  • Do not leave valuables in your room where they can be seen.
  • Lock your room doors. Even when going to the shower (take your key)
