Summer School Holds Placed
Student Financial Services sent the following email to students who have not cleared their Summer I & Summer II charges that were due on June 1st. Registration holds were placed late yesterday afternoon. Please have your student check his or her account in DEAC (Deacon Electronic Account Center), or parents and family members who have been granted third-party access may check it.

Wake Forest Student Financial Services wants to issue you this important reminder regarding Summer I & II classes. According to our records, an outstanding balance remains on your student account. Summer I & Summer II charges were due June 1, 2013. Please remit payment either in person at the cashier’s window (REY107) from 8:30am – 4:30pm EST Monday-Friday or by using DEAC (Deacon Electronic Account Center).
If you have recently cleared your student account balance, then please disregard this e-mail.
As a result of that balance, a registration hold has been placed on your student account. This hold affects your ability to drop/add fall classes and to respond to an open seat wait list notification. You should take the necessary action to clear this hold immediately.
If your plans have changed and you do not plan to attend summer classes, you must drop the class. Please contact the WFU Summer School Registrar’s Office to complete this process.
If it is determined after the end of summer sessions that you did not attend a course(s) upon which your summer financial aid award was based, all or your federal financial aid funds will be returned to the federal aid programs as specified in the federal regulations.
As stated in the official Wake Forest Refund Policy, the last day to receive any percentage refund on summer classes is after the sixth day of classes. After that date, you will be financially responsible for 100% of summer charges. If you have questions, please either call Student Financial Services at 336-758-5234 (Mon-Fri, 8:30am EST – 5:00pm EST) or email sfs@wfu.edu.
Thank you,
