Students and International Travel
From the Student Health Service:
Spring and summer break are right around the corner. Is your son or daughter considering international travel for leisure, study abroad or service? If so, the Student Health Service International Travel Clinic should be part of their travel planning.
Students traveling to Central and South America, Punta Cana and the Caribbean, should be aware of the possibility of mosquito borne infections, including Zika, Chikungunya, Dengue and malaria. Wake Forest Student Health Service advises students who are planning such travel learn about ways to prevent illness and stay healthy prior to travel.
