UPDATED WITH NEW DATES AUGUST 30:

Student Health has shared the following information about flu vaccine options this fall.  Please share with your students as you see fit.

——————

There will be a one-day Flu Vaccine clinic in the Benson Center on Wednesday, October 9th from 12:00-7:00 pm.  The cost of the vaccine is $27.00, and it can be paid for by cash or check at the door the day of the event, or charged by credit card at the Benson Center Ticket Office beginning on Tuesday, October 8th.   Insurance can be filed for those students who present with their Blue Cross/Blue Shield or Aetna insurance cards.

Starting October 15 until the end of the month, the Student Health Service will offer flu vaccines in the Z Smith Reynolds Library every Tuesday and Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The cost is $27.00 for all students and will be applied to the student’s account unless they have the Student Blue insurance plan, in which case there is not a charge.  Students do not need to make an appointment in advance; they will just show up on their desired evening.

Student Health will also be offering the flu vaccine on a walk-in basis in the Student Health Service office from 9:00 am-3:30 pm Monday through Friday starting October 1st.  Again, the charge is $27.00 applied to the student’s account.  Students do not need to make an appointment in advance; they will just show up at their desired time.
