Services for Professor Richard Heard

Services for Professor of Music Richard Heard will take place Monday, May 16, at 11 a.m. at Hope Community Church on Brownsboro Road.  The University announced earlier this week that Professor Heard died May 8 in Winston-Salem after a long illness.

The family will receive visitors Sunday, May 15, from 5-7 p.m. at Russell Funeral Home on Carl Russell Avenue.

An obituary appeared May 13 in the Winston-Salem Journal.

A campus memorial service is expected to be held next fall semester.
