The Senior Sendoff is a celebration for current seniors to come together to look back on their four years at Mother So Dear, and reminisce about the wonderful time! This event is put on each April by the Office of Campus Life and the Office of Alumni Engagement. Last year, alumna Mary Tribble (’82), spoke to the graduating class on why their legacy as Wake Foresters was far from over, and why they should “Go Forward, For Humanity”.  The event takes place downtown at a venue chosen by each class’ committee, and is an evening full of fun with friends dancing to live music, enjoying fancy food and drinks, and listening throughout the evening to toasts from peers.

The Spring 2015 Senior Sendoff date is Wednesday, April 22.

The Office of Alumni Engagement has been involved in the execution of this event since 2014, and looks forward to doing so for many years to come! It is such a thrill for our office to celebrate each class, as we welcome them to the alumni family, and help get connected and involved with their Deacon community, no matter where they are being “sent off” on the next chapter in their lives. Here’s to you, seniors!

If you would like to at all be involved as a student or alumni in the planning of The Senior Sendoff, please reach out to Stephen Edwards.
