The following traffic advisory was sent from the Athletic Department regarding this Saturday’s football game against Gardner Webb (kickoff 6:30 p.m.).

———————————————

Football Fans,

Please remember that on Saturday, September 17th Rock the Block will be taking place in downtown Winston-Salem throughout the day and evening. Many streets downtown will be closed for the event.  While detour signs will be posted, fans should avoid downtown and use alternate routes to and from BB&T Field including Silas Creek Parkway or Highway 52.

Fans are also encouraged to try using roads just north of the stadium such as Cherry Street, Polo Road, Indiana Avenue, and Akron Drive for faster access to BB&T Field.

When exiting BB&T Field, fans are encouraged to use Shorefair Drive to avoid delays.
