The following message is being sent to undergraduates regarding technical difficulties tonight during the room selection process.

————————–

Campus Residents:

Please be advised that due to serious software technical difficulties, the online room selection process for fall 2013 was suspended as of 8:00 p.m. this evening.  Staff in the Office of Residence Life and Housing have been working with our software vendor since the start of the process beginning at 5:00 p.m. to remedy the issue.

Due to these technical difficulties, we will be re-running the process at a later date.  All students who selected housing between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. this evening will need to log-in and select an available room again once the selection process is rescheduled.  When the schedule is determined, another message will be sent to the student campus community with instructions and a new log-in time.  Priority numbers will remain as given and will be honored in the same order when the selection process resumes.

While we understand the inconvenience of suspending the process, we are seeking to ensure systemic equity in the room selection process. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
