The Office of Residence Life and Housing sent the following email to all first-year students regarding room selection for the 2012-13 academic year.

—————

Dear South Campus Residents,

As the year quickly comes to an end, you will be preparing to choose a new building and room to call home.  To make this process a smoother one, you will be asked to attend a MANDATORY Room Selection Information Session in your building on Wednesday March 7th or Thursday March 8th.

Every resident of South Campus is encouraged to attend a Room Selection Information Session.  Should you be unable to attend during the date/ time specified for your building, you are encouraged to take time to attend meetings hosted in another building (as listed below).  This information will be crucial to help you navigate the room selection process.

Mandatory Room Selection Information Sessions will be held in the following buildings:

Wednesday March 7th:

5:30 – 6:00PM                       LUTER

6:00 – 6:30PM                       COLLINS

6:30 – 7:00PM                       SOUTH HALL

Wednesday March 8th

5:30 – 6:00PM                       BABCOCK

6:00 – 6:30PM                       JOHNSON

6:30 – 7:00PM                       BOSTWICK

Additional information about “You Choose” can be found on the Residence Life website.

Attached to this email, you will find the 2012 Room Selection Check List a helpful tool to assist you in gathering the necessary information for future roommates/ suite mates and to navigate the room selection process.

Best,
