Residence Hall Room Selection Information
Residence Life and Housing sent the following email message to students about the room selection process. The first email below talks about how they must complete an online survey to receive their room selection priority and logon schedule. The second email listed shows what your students will receive once they have completed their survey (note: their individual emails will have their particular details, logon, etc.)
—————————————–
[Initial email about room selection and survey completion]
Every year, Residence Life and Housing conducts a satisfaction survey to gather feedback about our staff, programs, facilities, and the overall residential experience. This year, we are connecting completion of the survey with receipt of important information you will need for selecting your room on campus next year.
In order to receive your room selection information (your room selection priority number and log on schedule), you must complete the survey. You can access the survey at the link contained in this message. The link is unique to your email address, so please do not forward this email to another student. After you have completed the survey, you will receive your room selection information by email within 48 hours or the next business day. If you have not received your room selection information within 48 hours or the next business day, please contact Amber Wall at wallas@wfu.edu.
Your room selection priority number is based on the number of semesters you have lived on campus and your log on schedule is based on your priority number. Please know that your completion of the survey only determines when you receive your room selection information. Your completion of the survey has no bearing on your specific priority number or log on schedule.
For more information about room selection, please visit our website.
You may access the survey by clicking on the link in your email. The survey is completely anonymous and will be available to students until Friday, March 23, 2012.

Online Room and Dining Selection Access Information
Priority Number & Log On Schedule:
If you plan to participate in General Room Selection (apartments, blocks, double or single rooms or study abroad), your priority number determines when you are allowed to log on and select a room and dining assignment. Priority numbers are randomly generated based on the number of semesters you have lived in campus housing. The higher your number, the sooner you are allowed to log on.
Your Log On time is based on your Priority Number. Log On times range from 04/16/12 at 5:00 p.m. to 04/19/12 at 11:00pm. The higher your Priority Number, the sooner you are allowed to log on and self-select your room and dining assignments.
If you believe your Priority Number & Log On Time are incorrect, please contact Residence Life and Housing immediately. Changes cannot be made once selection begins.
Your 2012-2013 Online Room Selection Priority Number and Log On Schedule is:

Your Roommate Pull In PIN and Password:
To act as the proxy for your roommate of choice, you must receive their Roommate Pull In PIN and Password.
By providing your Roommate Pull In PIN and Password to another student, you willingly agree to the terms and conditions stated in the online room and dining selection process. You understand that your roommate will represent you in selecting your room and dining option and that you will accept the room and dining selection made for you through the required electronic Assignment Confirmation process. You also understand that your roommate’s failure to participate in the Selection Process will result in losing guaranteed housing for 2012-2013 and may result in the loss of your residential student status.
